Why is everyone getting so upset about HHS getting blown out by what may be the best team in NKY. It was the right thing to do, to go for 2 when you just scored to get to 34-0. It kind of puts the team on the losing end out of their misery to get that running clock early. Ryle started putting back ups in in the 2nd quarter on Friday. Did you want them to keep all their starters in longer? Let's end this running up the score discussion now, it is history now.

apparently there was a national poll that USA today has been running up the score on 6 A teams outside Louisville and Coach Mueller is to blame.

And nobody seems to care very much and there is 16 pages of not caring to prove it

Let's just give everybody participation trophies and call it a day.

I'm going to bingo next weekend and if that sweet old lady next door wins twice again I'm going to yell at her for running up the score on me. Take her bingo marker at throw it across the room

I don't remember, someone asked a question. I don't follow HHs except when we line up acrossed the field. I really don't give a rip who what when, it's the parents like some of you who keep people from giving a rip except hoping you lose. Take your high and mighty shots. I got one for you , what's your record? What was the score last friday? I'm going to enjoy watching your season unfold or more likely implode. Good day gentlemen. ( I use that term rather loosely ). I can tell you something from the good old days. I would of handed each one of you your behinds on a platter on the field. Let that marinate. Bunch of bench warmers with big mouths.

Not even close to a record. I made a post shortly after the game that this thread would be 20+ pages before the next game because it will be full of a couple HHS parents arguing over who should be playing line and letting us know how much the coaches stink and how things would be different if Dale were still the coach and how all the boys need to do is listen to the dads who used to play for HHS and that will inspire them to go on and win state this year, HHS state of affairs has nothing to do with other teams are just better but that the boys just need to believe and they will be unstoppable lol.

So, the dads know better than the coaches? I guess when they played they didn't need coaching. Nothing worse than a bunch of has been's undermining a coaching staff. I would hate to be a kid on that team listening to all the vile bitterness from my parents after we got our butts whipped. Bad enough to lose, now you have to listen to 50 year old war stories about how great they were against other mediocre KY football teams. Be told how your not trying hard enough or your coaches suck it's not your fault. Good LORD, That's how to fail as a sports parent 101.

Run up the score who cares, the point is why are some HHS posters getting their panties twisted when they are on the wrong end of a lopsided game and started making little snarky comments? We took our lumps, take yours. Run it up when you can, get it back when it comes. Kids lives aren't ruined because they got blown out. No big deal. Stop denying it ever has been done like HHS was football saints. No biggie. Love the fact you guys can give but can't take.

I'm sure there were complainers. I've never cried about it. Just don't like people being hypocrites about it. I've pointed out that HIGHLANDS has done it, and that's ok.. At some point people are going to get your number and flip the tables on you. Gotta deal. It's only a game.

I agree with that, there is no reason for HHS fans to be complaining about Ryle "running up the score". We got beat by the better team, take it and learn from it. Hopefully this game puts a little bit of a chip on the HHS team shoulder and can turn things around.
