I heard they cancelled the freshmen game tonight. I've also heard this and I also heard the field crew hasn't been able to paint the field at all because of the sloppy conditions.

Paint the field… No problem. …… Take two days of heavy rain, mix with 200 lbs, of flour and mix thoroughly with 22 pairs of cleats. This is headlines from a Rams vs. Paintsville game. The field was so flooded paint wouldn’t stick to the ground…so they used 200lbs of flour to line the field. Needless to say the Rams “raised “ to the occasion and won 22-6.

Just wanted to let everyone know that there is possibility the game will be moved to Saturday because of the weather.

Personally, I hope we do not reschedule this game. This is football and unless there are lightning bolts zapping Putnam Stadium, we should play the game as scheduled.

 

I stopped by the field late last night and it was draining very well but make no mistake, its going to be sloppy out there.

I think it is a big mistake to reshedule as well, the main reason is that these kids have been building all week up to this game and I think they want to play it tonight no matter the weather. The fan want to see it played as well.. If we have to put scuba gear on em, let the boy's play! :fight:
