Thanks for starting this thread, Clizzy. I saw this last week and totally forgot about starting a thread. His team in Frisco is pretty good and made a deep run in the playoffs last year. I'll also add that Elijah was ranked as the 32nd best safety in the state of Texas in a preseason listing. Not only is being the 32nd best safety in the state of Texas impressive but he only played 3 games at safety last season. Kid has some true talent.

 

His father is Leman Boyd of Bowling Green High School class of 1992. Leman played for UK after graduating from BGHS. It is safe to say that Elijah inherited some of his father's D-1 DNA and Leman is quick to tell anyone that Elijah is a better player than he was.
