The Raiders were 2023's feel good story, running off a school record 13 straight wins before meeting their end at the feet of Mr. Football in the 3A semifinals. The ground game was one of the state's most potent, but 90% of that production is lost to graduation - Monroe, Rexroat, Crump, Bradley, all gone, as is leading receiver and tackler Jaxson Shoulders. The younger Shoulders returns at quarterback, and there is a solid nucleus of experience back on defense to try and offset the loss of the two-way standouts mentioned above. The district should be stout and highly competitive again, with Adair, Glasgow, and F-S all looking to knock the upstart Raiders down a peg or two.

Kind of a low key tough schedule for a team that lost a lot of talent. I think 6-4 would be a pretty good season.
