Nice win for the Beechies, and I admit, I was dead wrong in the prediction thread. I really thought Dixie would bounce back from last week's debacle. Wrong.

 

It doesn't get any easier for the Red Colonels next week -- not quite the fast start they were hoping for.

I really thought Dixie was going to be a better team than last year, but after these first two games I guess not. Still early though, hopefully they'll improve.

I thought the Beechies looked better than Dixie did against HHS....Beechwood's skilled players looked better to me....Congrats Tigers...:thumb:Dixie also just looked way out of shape and really slow...

Didn't Dixie have like 10 offensive starters returning? What a total disappointment.

After Dixie's first drive Beechwood dominated the game. Beechwood has a very good QB and RB and their run defense is tough. Beechwood will be a load for any Class A team this year.

Wish I would of seen it.

Dixie is underachieving. Beechwood is a good team, but a AAAA team that has has success should not be pushed around like Dixie was.

Dixie is going to take another one on the chin next week and they are going to be in several 4A battles. Tough year for the Colonels.

Sounds like the Highlands scrimmage was an aberration for Beechwood. I am guaranteeing two victories this season for Beechwood against the team on the hill in Newport. That is if NCC can get by Raceland this year.

No, Highlands is a lot better than Beechwood but right now Beechwood looks to be ahead of NCC.
