Not that you should've been eating there to begin with. Taco Hell is nasty.

True. I might actually go there once a year.

In my best British accent, "It's teddible, absolutely teddible. Not fit for human consumption."

The officers already said they don't want anyone to lose their jobs over this. What's up with the keyboard justice warriors who know so much better than they do?

I agree.

The kid(s) loses his job, and it reinforces the negative attitude toward police et al. The question is how do you respond to the situation? Is there something that can be done to educate the employee and possibly change his attitude?

As someone else pointed out, you can't educate decency.

Good question. Do employees, particularly non management?

If you don't like the police stop breaking the law and meeting them in the capacity that your are referred to as the suspect or perpetrator.

Officers may have said that but as a business owner I fire them. Its called a life lesson and good business. Cant have someone make your business look bad that looks there.

If you don't fire them, you are telling a punk kid cashier at Taco Bell he can refuse service to anybody he wants, for whatever reason he wants. That can be discrimination.

FWIW, this FOP spokesman is not someone I trust to impart unembellished information.

The police officers probably don't want the perception that they got these guys fired. That's cool but it doesn't mean I'm willing to sit by and allow this to happen again to someone else. I'm particularly upset with the workers who wanted to do something to their food. That cannot be tolerated.

On the other hand, you can't fire them without proof they did what they are accused of.
