August 24, 201610 yr And I'm pointing out they are not as different as you would like to believe. Matter of opinion.
August 24, 201610 yr Further, I'll bet real money that if the morons that did this are fired their aggrieved faces will appear on all sorts of media as victims.
August 24, 201610 yr I agree in that's what should happen, but they can't do it. They do something like that and something tragic ends up happening and it's a massive lawsuit/heads roll. Don't be fooled when that call comes from dispatch that maybe their response is little slower.....drunks in late night fast food places are typically just disorderly and not violent. Minimal risk in a slow response given the late night alternative assist runs that occur in the city the size of Louisville.
August 24, 201610 yr I believe that Taco Bell is a Yum Brand and as such, I'm guessing that this particular franchise owner may have some splaining to do . How much of a problem do you think having the corporate HQ in the same city as a major bad media story is going to create ?

August 24, 201610 yr If you look at this at its basic level, the employees refused to serve a customer based on the employees political/personal feelings about the customer. Not because the customer was breaking a rule of the said business. If I was the owner/manager I'd fire them. They are paid to do a job, they refused to that job.
August 24, 201610 yr I would fire them so quickly that they wouldn't know what hit them. How embarrassing.
August 24, 201610 yr Not a chance they keep their jobs if I'm the manager there. I say fire the manager if he/she doesn't get rid of them. There's no amount of training that should be needed to be respectful to authorities. You can't teach common sense. Heck, the fact that they disrespected any customer is bad enough. The fact that the customer is a police officer just adds on I guess.
August 24, 201610 yr I sent an email to the YUM Brands company regarding this incident. These employees should be fired immediately.
August 24, 201610 yr Heck, the fact that they disrespected any customer is bad enough. The fact that the customer is a police officer just adds on I guess. Agreed. A cashier at Taco Bell doesn't have the authority to refuse service to ANYONE.
August 24, 201610 yr Absolutely unacceptable. If they aren't fired, I will never eat at any Taco Bell again.
August 24, 201610 yr Absolutely unacceptable. If they aren't fired, I will never eat at any Taco Bell again. Not that you should've been eating there to begin with. Taco Hell is nasty.
