Is he staying? If Young is the hire, Gilbert will be the only one that knows the kids. Could be a good resource.

It appears that things worked out really, really well for Mercer. The fear was they would have to settle because of the timing of Cook's departure. On paper, he's an excellent get for the Titans.

Great coach. Awesome guy. Had to take the fall at NKU when they told Bezold to cut his staff loose. Then they got rid of Bezold the next year.
