I've heard they want to make a hire very soon. I heard the players love Jordan Gilbert and would love to see him get the job. I've heard Kurt Young has a chance to land the job. I've heard Chris Huff's name a few times as well. It'll be interesting to hear what folks are saying tonight at the football game.

I've heard Huff and Hamlin's name a few times. I watched Gilbert coach the freshman a few games at the KBA this summer. Had his frosh team looking good. I've heard a few the kids want Hamlin. I assume the ones wanting Hamlin are the guys which played JV with him last year.

Do you think that this will be an interim hire? Or will they just make it permanent since these jobs are renewed annually?

 

I kinda hope whoever gets it, is someone the kids like and have fun playing for. Won't hurt if the guy knows what he's doing too!

Permanent is what I am hearing. I think I'll know more after tonight though.

Whoever they decide to hire needs to look past I have one of the best players in the state and start with the feeder system. All successful programs have a good feeder system. K-5, 6-8, into high school. No one wants to be a one time wonder. Oh by the way building a feeder system does not include recruiting the state, no need if you do it right.

Kids have got to be ready to know who is going to be chief this year. Any news from interviews this weekend?
