With the news of Josh Cook taking the GRC job this job is now open. Who will take over at Mercer County and inherit Trevon Faulkner for the next two years?

I think will be difficult being that school has been in session for a couple of weeks now. Do they have anyone on the inside that could take over? Wonder who all will be interestedl. Faulkner is a good peice to build around!

I was wondering the same. Is Gomes still at Mercer County? Is it possible he takes over on an interim basis and then they open it up after the season? I agree, I think it will be hard to get a head coach from another school right now.

Any current coaches unemployed who may be interested in this job?

If it was earlier in the summer I would think they would get tons of interest! I guess time will tell. It is hard on kids when coaches move around every 2 years or so. Mercer seems to struggle to keeps boys coaches very long!

Very true. I do think in Coach Cook's case he made the right decision for the right reasons. Plus his stock is at an all time high right now. Gotta strike when the iron is hot.
