August 8, 201610 yr I will use both salt and pepper. I've found I use less salt since we got a pepper grinder. Couldn't believe how much more flavor the freshly ground pepper has, compared to the canned variety On a related note, anyone ever heard of Eintein's salt test? My dad would've failed it miserably. I thought it was Thomas Edison's? Anyway, I would have failed also. Y'all are close, but it was actually Epsom.
August 8, 201610 yr I use lots of pepper ( fresh ground or coarse) . And enough salt to wear it looks like a snow covered mountain . I salt my pizza , I salt my tortilla chips with salsa . I salt my fries by the bite . Thats just me .
August 8, 201610 yr I honestly couldn't tell you the last time I put salt or pepper on something. So not often at all.
August 8, 201610 yr Have to cut back on salt. I like sea salt. However, I do make good use of the pepper shakers and mills.

August 8, 201610 yr I don't salt anything, unless it is in a recipe. I love freshly ground pepper on salads, however.
August 8, 201610 yr Too much. This. Especially on baked potatoes and corn on the cob sopped up with half a pound of butter.
August 8, 201610 yr Outside of when it's being cooked I never put salt and/or pepper on anything. Same here. I use pepper some but that's about it.
August 8, 201610 yr Both are used sparingly when needed in cooking. Neither are coming near my fruit! :irked: I can understand the salt thing overall. However I do NOT understand people salting food before they've even tasted it. And pepper....really have no idea what that's about. Of only a small amount is needed in a recipe, I usually just omit it. And I never add it at the table.
August 8, 201610 yr Fresh ground pepper on everything. I seldom use salt. I do like it on my eggs. Just a little.
August 8, 201610 yr I rarely salt anything but just a little bit on carved turkey, hard boiled eggs, baked, roasted, or mashed potatoes, and fries of course. I like cracked pepper on salads and cole slaw, as well as anything potato.
August 8, 201610 yr I don't salt anything, and try to keep it to a minimum in preparation. Love pepper.
August 8, 201610 yr I use both in cooking. On things that are already prepared: I use pepper fairly often. Salt on eggs and corn on the cob.
