August 8, 201610 yr I am in the same boat. The hours of water drinking after country ham sucks. I seldom make ham but always love it when I do.
August 8, 201610 yr I'd take baked ham over country ham almost always....EXCEPT when I go to Wallace Station in Versailles. Their country ham & pimiento cheese panini is unreal. Morris' Deli in Louisville makes a helluva country ham and cheese deli sandwich too, for that matter.

I like it but you can only eat so much. I'll destroy a city ham and I like destroying city hams. So city ham it is for me. It's good hot, warm or cold. Can't beat that.
