Colonels_Wear_Blue Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 Your choice. You get to pick one song to have never existed. No one would ever know it, and you would never have to hear it again. What would it be?

TAC Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 Tough call for me. For the Mrs. it would be Mony Mony. Told the DJ at our wedding if he played it he would not get paid.
MentschTrachtGottLacht Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 "Gangham Style". It drives me nuts.
DragonFire Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 Love shack I was coming here to say Cotton Eye Joe, but yours is better. Love Shack is an abomination.
rjs4470 Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 I was coming here to say Cotton Eye Joe, but yours is better. Love Shack is an abomination. I disagree. Love Shack is bad. Cotton Eye Joe is dreadful. But since both were already mentioned, I would say "True" by Spandau Ballet should be stricken from history.
Colonels_Wear_Blue Posted August 1, 2016 Author Posted August 1, 2016 Friends In Low Places I think an argument could be made for a couple mentioned previously...but this one is currently the winner for me.
MentschTrachtGottLacht Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 Sweet Home Alabama... Just. Stop. It.
Jumper_Dad Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 I think for argument sake you should only pick songs from genres you actually listen to. If you hate country, you are not listening to country radio I'm guessing, why get rid of a song like "Friends in low places" if you aren't going to hear it any way?
