^deservedly so.

Has video of the shooting been released?

Officer that was charged says he saw Castille reach for his gun.

If he didn't say that initially it will be difficult to believe.

Jurors have been deliberating for four days on the manslaughter charge.

In similar news, the Bill Cosby case ends in a hung jury. As we have had friendly debates before, it amazes me that 2 people can see the totally opposite view of the same situation or video. But here it is going to happen again. Some doubt was placed in at least one jurors mind.

I'm not surprised at this. No video evidence of the actual shooting so it's impossible to know the officer erred.

Sad case.

Star witness wasnt exactly a good witness either.

Well, there is video.

The victim did tell the officer that he was carrying. Officer said that's fine but do not reach. Said it a couple of times. Victim kept reaching.

Note: Graphic language

Dashcam video: Before seven shots, Yanez to Castile: 'Don't pull it out!' - StarTribune.com

Another case where so many jumped to conclusions based on very little information. The original video in a vacuum was pretty damaging, but anyone with any sense had to realize there was more than just her version of what happened.

I don't know how anyone can watch the two videos and think this officer needs to be on the streets with a gun.

If Castile is reaching for his gun what should the officer have done? Wait for him to pull it out and point it at him before shooting? The girl friends video is useless. It's after the fact and adds nothing of value.
