And that's not really a direct question to you. Just funny that when Cal pulls amazing classes, he's gotta be cheating somehow, even though he's under a total microscope, but he's also ruining the pureness of college basketball with the one and done game. When Coach K pulls amazing classes, he's an amazing coach and really has a knack for recruiting the best.

It'd be impossible to keep under wraps, especially with some of the guys who would love nothing more than to ruin Cal's career by exposing it. Do I think he cheats? Absolutely. Every coach does. The reason Cal is seen as shady is because he works in the gray area that isn't quite defined by the rules. JMO.
July 1, 201610 yr Coach Cal and Coach K don't have to pay players. They're hall of fame coaches. Cal prepares guys for the NBA. That's how he gets them paid. I don't know how much they've made in total exactly(or are set to make), but it has to be close to a billion and will definitely pass it.

When all I knew was UMass got penalized and then Memphis had to forfeit a season, I figured just like that ignorant Bobby Knight, that the Coach must be dirty. When I took the time to look into those cases I saw one where a player while already at UMass started taking money from a potential agent and the other where a player supposedly cheated on a test while they were in still in high school. Camby took money because, well he needed money for his family and figured no one would find out. He didn't run it by the coach to see if it was OK, Calipari didn't hook him up with this guy...he was approached and did this on his own as he has said many times. Rose cheated, according to the NCAA, on his ACT. Why did he do it, because he wanted to go D1 and get drafted by the NBA ASAP. NCAA initially cleared him and Calipari played him, just like every other coach in the country would have. Then the NCAA said, "Nah he cheated and since you played him you have to forfeit all of those games." According to Cal just few weeks ago.... ALL Coaches know when things happen in their programs.

Calipari may not be squeaky clean in a few minor things since he began his coaching career many years ago, but not many coaches are, including the highly esteemed head man at Duke or the much acclaimed coach of the past at UCLA, John Wooden. However, the two most mentioned bad deeds that are used by Calipari critics, the Camby case at UMass and the Rose case at Memphis, are undeserved. And I believe that critics now know this as a fact, but because of their dislike and bias against Calipari, they continue to get on the airwaves or the print media and perpetuate the story, regardless. It's similar to the words spoken in the movie The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance: Ransom Stoddard: "You're not going to use the story, Mr. Scott?" Maxwell Scott: "No, sir. This is the West, sir. When the legend becomes fact, print the legend." So, let's update the same thinking to Calipari. Calipari: "You're not going to use the true story about the situation at UMass and Memphis, Mr. (Insert the name of any number of media people)?" Mr.Media: "No, Coach. This is the University of Kentucky basketball. And you're John Calipari. When the actual truth is revealed, print the untruth anyway. It's a myth but doesn't further our agenda."
