The Knicks also acquired reserve guard Justin Holiday and a 2017 second-round pick. How much of a risk is this deal for the Knicks?
June 22, 201610 yr Probably not a huge risk. I think he and the Knicks know he's not MVP Derrick Rose anymore and if they accept that it should go swimmingly. Not a terribull trade for Chicago either.
June 23, 201610 yr Great trade for the Knicks. If he doesn't pan out he's a FA after 2017. I listened to Sam Smith from Bulls.com on MadDog today and he believes Roses' analytics down the stretch were solid. He said he will never be the MVP type of player but thinks he will play at a high level in NY. I think we all know his real problems are above the neck.
