Big story brewing at South Warren High School. The investigation was apparently instigated by South Warren administrator's report to the school resource officer. The a deputy sheriff in the county has gone on record stating that based on current findings, the sheriff's office does not any school administrators are involved.

 

Warren County Sheriff's Department investigating allegations of sexual improprieties at an area high school

 

WARREN COUNTY, Ky. (WBKO) - The Warren County Sheriff's Office is investigating allegations of sexual wrongdoing at South Warren High.

 

The sheriff's department has released the following statement:

“Warren County Sheriff’s Office is investigating some allegations of sexual improprieties involving students at South Warren High School. Deputies are in the preliminary stages of the investigation and due to the alleged victim(s) and suspect(s) being juveniles, no other information can be released at this time.”

 

The school district released the following statement:

"Warren County Public Schools can confirm that the Warren County Sheriffs Office is investigating allegations of sexual impropriety and harassment. WCPS takes every allegation seriously and is conducting a thorough internal investigation into these claims. Because the allegations have been made against minors and not adults, and out of respect to the ongoing investigation by the WCSO, we cannot further comment at this time. Safety remains the number one priority of Warren County Public Schools and we will continue to cooperate fully with the Sheriff's department."

This story is starting to pick up some steam. Has anyone heard anything down in BG about this?

Those two press releases take on an ominous tone.

 

Reading for context it sounds as if there are several perpetrators and several victims.
