That some of the best athletes in the world and many times more tourist went to Rio for the Olympics and then transmitted Zika around the world causing a 20 year decrease in births around the world.

This is a very distinct possibility. And very frightening. I remember the tragic births in the 1950's with the drug Thalidomide.

One might think smoking would be gone in 20 years with the health information we now have. But it seems more and more young kids are doing it.:idunno:

You had to be 18 when I was growing up, but yet my high school allowed smoking in designated areas. I look back , and the fact that schools allowed smoking amazes me.

Same for me - maybe it was a "mid-Atlantic thing". Our school had two cafeterias - the nerdy one that served standard school lunches, and the cool one that served burgers, dogs and shakes. The smoking area was outside the cool one.
