You bring up a point I haven't thought about much - Trump's businesses. As President, he will have to remove himself and I am sure the family will run the businesses. However, is there an inherent conflict of interest that we need to consider? Trump claims he will not be influenced by big business but he and a lot of the people he claims as friends are big business. How does he keep that, and them, from influencing his decisions?

 

Wouldn't this be a bigger worry for Hillary who has been bought by China and Wall Street years ago ?

Here's what I think will happen if Sir Donald gets elected. He will try and move his agenda whatever it is. If the Republicans stand in his way, he will go after them in their local elections to get the Congress he needs.

 

He is a fascist, his way or no way. He is not wrong, therefore, his government is not wrong. If he gets 8 years he will change it to his people. The next big thing will not be the "Tea Party" but the "Trump Train". Toot-toot!!

It's not just jobs being moved but job being put out of business. The steel and auto industry are prime examples.

 

You can point to northern kentucky and 300+ jobs at IPSCO that go in and out because China does it cheaper and imports.

I know a lot of Republicans that didn't support Trump. None that I've spoken with plan on sitting out or not voting for Trump, the reason...Mrs. Clinton being his opponent.

 

I think HRC is going to have the opposite of the Obama effect of the last two elections. The President was able to get voters energized to get out and vote for him, many voting for the first time in years.

 

The same voters that stayed home during the McCain and Romney runs will be out in force this election, against HRC as much as for Trump.

I'm seeing a mix. Most of my friends are Republicans as well, and most of them, sadly, are about as xenophobic and homophobic as they come. Most support Trump, a couple are sitting this one out, and one is voting for Clinton.
