I have no doubt that many GOPers will vote for Trump because they dislike Hillary. I understand that. However, the flip side of this coin is that even more lukewarm Dems, independents, moderate R's (primarily females) will vote for Hillary because they view a Trump presidency as downright scary.

I do not know one Republican that will vote for Hillary. Not one.

I wouldn't say most of them are legitimate. Most are unnamed republicans. If you want to say people will stay home. That's a strong possibility. But 25 years of dislike doesn't get erased. I'm sure there might be a handful or very small sliver. But there won't be a wave of republicans voting for Hillary by the fall.

I don't look , watch or participate in Trump rallies. I just know from my experience and I have a lot that Republican women dislike Hillary very strongly. It's that divide the most democrats ignore when they talk about the war on women. They ignore the fact that their are many women in this country who don't agree with their platform and try and pin women into a box.

 

For example I habe sisters, aunts , a mother and cousins. All are pro life and don't get how Democrats can paint that movement anti woman. I get if you live in a bubble you think all women hold all issues with the same opinion.

By comparison, 42 percent of men would cast their ballots for Clinton versus 50 percent that would support Trump. (Don't forget -- women make up close to 53 percent of the U.S. electorate.)

Listen you are speaking to a guy who has doubted Trump and spoke out against Trump for most the last year I have egg on my face.

 

What I do know is Trump has an unfavorability rating from women in to mid 60 %. But Hillary has 58% unfavorably rating.

 

They havent started campaigning against each other and Hillary's support doesn't seem solid based on that. I don't put anything past Trump's voodoo at this point. Polls now mean nothing.
