March 28, 201610 yr Author Villanova and the Oklahoma game will be the first game Sat. tip time is 6:09 and North Carolina and Syracuse will tip at approx. 8:49 both games as well as the National Title game will be on TBS this year.

March 28, 201610 yr The championship game should be a dandy. I assume it will be North Carolina and Oklahoma. But Nova and Cuse have already surprised everyone. However, I just can't see Syracuse defeating UNC in any scenario. They've gone about as far as they're going to get, and Oklahoma has already beaten Villanova 20+ points on their home floor. It won't be as bad this time but I think the Sooners will still win. I would have to give the Tar Heels a slight edge but the Sooners are more than capable of winning the game, especially of Buddy Hield keeps up his hot shooting.
March 28, 201610 yr I had heard back before the Sweet Sixteen games, that the television networks would be hoping for a North Carolina/Oklahoma final for ratings sakes. Something about a perennial national power (UNC), versus a team with individual star power (Oklahoma/Buddy Hield). It looks like they might get their wish.
March 28, 201610 yr One of the few things that would cause me to root for North Carolina in a basketball game - their opponent Notre Dame. And now they face another team that will cause me to root for them - Syracuse. I believed rooting for UNC two games in a row is a first in my lifetime. The only consolation is if they do win I know I will not be rooting for them in the championship game.
