December 13, 20169 yr Early this year (Jan-Feb) Vince Marrow said that if UK would start winning the close games & put together a winning season, we could get almost any of the great players that they were recruiting. I hope this is the beginning of that trend. And certainly a bowl victory would enhance our chances.
December 14, 20169 yr Huge day for the Cats. When they pulled off the win over UL I knew it would help close out on some recruits that were on the fence. Now with the Gator/TaxSlayer bowl, a win there would be huge for recruiting going forward. These cats could finish with a top 20 class with a ton of momentum heading into next season.
December 14, 20169 yr Two 3 star juco's in one day is a good day. I expect them to get big Thayer Munford a legit 4 star lineman if OSU doesn't offer. Lynn Bowden will end up at UK one of the top athletes in Ohio.
December 14, 20169 yr I haven't heard anything in a while but I'm pretty sure they are in a good spot with 4 star WR Danny Davis as well. Add in 4 star athlete Bowden, 4 star tackle Munford, 3 star WR Isiah Epps, and maybe 3 star DE Jordan Wright to close the class.

Specifically, UK has offered at total of 3 players (out of 319 total offers extended) from the State and UofL has offered a total of 4 from Ky. (out of a total of 406 total offers extended). Again, I get the fascination with the FL, GA, and Texas type players but is KY high football that far behind that it does not warrant at least offering 6-7 players from your home State? If I'm a Ky. High School coach I would have to be scratching my head just a little.
