I mentioned those States because those are States where both schools have made several offers to players so I'm simply asking the question of do you think those States HS school football is that much better than KY's. That's all. If I had to guess, yes, most of them. There is one senior in KY that is ranked in the top 250. Walker Wood is the #4 player in KY and is ranked in the 900s nationally.
December 14, 20169 yr UK doesn't offer a lot of Kentucky kids due to the success they have had in Ohio. While in general, most of those kids are OSU's leftovers, Ohio as a whole produces a lot of good to great football players so that leaves plenty left on the table for schools like UK, Michigan State, etc to try and scoop up. That said, UK does still offer Kentucky kids when they find a good one, but even recently most of those kids haven't panned out. The fact that Urban Meyer is able to recruit great players from all over the country helps out UK a lot in recruiting, IMO. Some of the Ohio players he doesn't offer are still great players, he just happens to have someone a little better in mind. It's a win win situation for both schools IMO.

December 16, 20169 yr Kevaughn Dingle a WR out of Miami has decommited from Miami U. He is rated a 4 star by some services. His decommitment follows a visit from Lamar Thomas at UK. He holds offers from Louisville, ND, Tennessee and WVU. Kentucky is now thought to be the leader. If Kentucky gets him along with the others in Munford, Bowden, Wright and Davis this class could finish close to the top 15 in the nation.

Over the course of Wright's recruitment he had also received offers from Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Florida State, Louisville, Miami, Michigan, Mississippi State, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Pittsburgh and Southern Cal, among others. Not really sure what the "over the course of Wright's recruitment" part means, but a pretty impressive list of offers.
