Using your criteria as a benchmark there are very few successful coaches.

There must have been some grudges out there for it to get this far. Was any of this addressed with Coach Carr previously? And bottom line it doesn't matter now since he resigned.

Doesn't matter the size of the school its the talent in the school and Coach Carr won with less talent, to me that is a good coach. I would like to see what he would do with a lot of talent on his team, not saying Scott hasn't had talent because they have but its been one or two good players were other teams have four or five.

I don't think the size of the school can predict talent (ex: Augusta only has around 60 boys total)...It takes a blend of talent and coaches to win.

Instead of preparing the road for your kids, prepare your kids for the road. What people don't see are the things Brad does for kids behind the scenes that are non basketball related. He's a tough coach who holds kids accountable for their actions on and off the court. Has he done or said things that he regrets? Absolutely and Brad would be the first to say so. He cares about the kids and their futures more than wins and losses. But the real issue here is the cowardly act of recording a coach in the locker room at halftime orchestrated by another coach. This all coming from a coach that has, for years, said the same things that were recorded but now it's different when it's your lil Johnny. How hypocritical of you and I hope karma comes back to bite ya.

Allegedly, there is a recording that is the smoking gun for running Coach Carr out of Scott. Now anytime a Governmental Entity uses a piece of Evidence to make their case that Evidence should most surely be subject to the Rules of Evidence just like in a formal court proceeding.

 

With the above in mind and the fact that Scott High School recently suspended a student for sharing a recording with someone other than the Scott Administration some questions to ask are:

 

Who recorded the audio of Coach Carr?

What is the Chain of Custody of that recording?

Was that recording shared with anyone other than the Administration of Scott?

Did the player (I am making an assumption it was a player) that recorded Coach Carr do it on his own?

Did another adult put the player that recorded Coach Carr up to recording Coach Carr?

Was this an official covert operation on behalf of the Scott Administration and the Kenton County Board of Education?

If it was an official covert operation what is the Scott High School and Kenton County Board of Education policy for using a student to covertly spy on a teacher/coach?

Did another authority figure inside Scott High School act alone and put the player up to recording Coach Carr?

If another authority figure inside Scott High School put the player up to recording Coach Carr did that authority figure follow the Scott High School and Kenton County Board of Education policy on using a minor/student to spy on another Scott High School authority figure?

Is Scott High School and the Kenton County Board of Education claiming the recording came from an anonymous source to protect everyone involved thus becoming co-conspirators in a coverup after the fact?

Why did it take so long for the recording to surface?

Did a kid/player make the choice to hang onto the recording on his own and not share it with anyone?

Did an adult take custody of the recording (or at least a copy of the recording) specifically to share when it was most likely it would cause Coach Carr to be forced out?

How many people have copies of this recording?

Who shared the recording with all the people that have copies?

 

Frankly, if the recording was anything other than a player acting on his own and sharing the recording (nearly immediately) with only with the Scott High School Administration then just like in the case of the female student being suspended for sharing the fight video on Social Media this student/player also deserves to be suspended if Scott High School and the Kenton County Board of Education want to be consistent. Furthermore, if an adult authority figure inside Scott High School orchestrated the recording and the release timing of the recording I think it is potentially grounds for termination.

All speculations honestly. Brad Carr went out on his own terms. Until you prove otherwise, you can't keep on saying all of these "rumors". The rumors are starting to get ridiculous at this point. Everyone's posts on here have zero evidence to back the speculations up...
