Way, way, way too early 2016-17 10th Region Rankings

IMHO I think Allen will be the best player in the region, he will surpass Crawford and Ohmer in all categories by the end of the next school season. I don't think Crawford is individually a dominant enough player to take the Polar Bears into the top 5. While I do think Allen is that type of player, so PC will be tough. I think Campbell is super deep and will reload with a new identity (one without the dominant big man) and they will surprise people and win games. They are too deep to not finish in the top 5 by seasons end. Lastly I do not think losing Carr will keep Scott from being a force this next year. There will be some bumps early on but by the end of the season they will be good

I tend to agree with this post as for the top 5 at the end. I think Mason County repeats as region champ, liked what little I saw of Perkins in limited pressure situations in district and regional tournament and if he grows to 6'10 as projected and stays in the paint instead of shooting 3's(a Mason County trademark if your 6'6 or above). Campbell,Scott and Pendleton will battle it out to see who plays them in the finals at NKU(right?)

NKU? That is funny. NKU don't want and the northern schools don't want to play there. Nobody wants to play in that tomb where you can't even tell the fans are there. It is a nice facility but leave it for the ninth region and Norsemen.

I am not buying in to the Pendleton County hype just yet, all this riding on the development of Dontae Allen.

Best week of hoops was when both the 9th and 10th played at NKU. I'm a fan of it.

I also liked it.

I'm already feeling the hate here...you guys claim to kno 10th region basketball...Paris is loaded...yes they lost Garrard but all region performer Wells...Sr guard Davis jrs Ashford and Johnson and Sr Sharp shooter Ryan Davis...are all returners that played big minutes last year...other teams in region are one man shows...Paris not in some top 5 is laughable.

Paris had and will have a good team. They have to learn to win in the regional tourney. Last two years they have fell short in March.

They've had more "raw" talent than anyone the past several years but lacked maturity and composure...... If that changes for the better then I'd put them in the top 1-3

This! I was trying to put this down in words and I think you did it very well.

Me too, even though we had a car wreck on the way up to our game.

Very little separation in the top 4. 5 & 6 are IMO a step behind but still possible contenders with 7-10 making it interesting but still a little behind the rest of the pack.

Not sure Bracken will be that high or Pendleton will be that low.
