Not sure Bracken will be that high or Pendleton will be that low.

Going based on what I saw from Allen last year. All their team riding off him.

1. Scott

2. Paris

3. Bracken

4. Campbell

5. Pendleton

6. Mason

7. MoCo

8. Bourbon

9. GRC

10. Brossart

Very little separation in the top 4. 5 & 6 are IMO a step behind but still possible contenders with 7-10 making it interesting but still a little behind the rest of the pack.

Surprised you got Mason that high. About where you had them last year and how did that turn out? I can't remember.

1. Paris

2. Scott High

3. Mason Co.

4. Bracken Co.

5. Campbell Co.

6. Pendleton Co.

7. Montgomery Co.

Don't understand why everyone is ranking PC so high. For one, BC beat their full squad last year without 2 starters. Now with seniors graduating and players leaving opponents will be able to double down on Allen.

Go ahead pb98, refresh his memory on all the details of how their season ended.

It could have ended a whole lot differently if things were corrected and disciplinary action was taken a little sooner than when it did happened. But it is what it is. On to next season and what should be considered as close to as a rebuilding year Mason Co has experienced in a good while. Garrison is the key returning starter. While he is definitely a baller after Dunaway who came off the bench last season there isn't much to speak of. Lofton was very inconsistent and lacked discipline at times but I believe he was a freshman so there will be some maturity to come with time.

Beacuse they are placing all their chips on Allen.

Garrison leaving Mason County shakes things up a bit. I had Mason at #3 but would probably slide them down to #7 or maybe lower.

Agree, those other 3 players are good, but he stirred the drink. I have them at#9.

Where is he going and why?

I'm already feeling the hate here...you guys claim to kno 10th region basketball...Paris is loaded...yes they lost Garrard but all region performer Wells...Sr guard Davis jrs Ashford and Johnson and Sr Sharp shooter Ryan Davis...are all returners that played big minutes last year...other teams in region are one man shows...Paris not in some top 5 is laughable.

Major problem with Paris is they were one of the poorest shooting teams in Ky last year. Despite all that athleticism and getting to the rim for high % shots, they still only managed 45% from the floor. More telling was 28% on threes, and a paltry 61% from the line. Mason beat them last year by getting back on defense and forcing Paris to shoot from everywhere but the paint. Great athletes, I agree 100%. Top five, no doubt! Trip to Rupp, going to take better shooting outside the paint. And as AndOneDad said, "more leadership and composure" in their game.
