Way, way, way too early 2016-17 10th Region Rankings

Moco only returns Jones and Canada with any significant varsity playing experience.

Next season that can be enough to be in the mix. Look at what Mason County did this year.

Real deal...body type like Pippen. Upside is thru the roof.

Once he develops his stock will be thru the roof. This kids gonna be a beast.

Paris #1, Bracken #2, Scott #3, Pendleton #4. Only reason I have PC that low is because Team ____ created far too much baggage, selfish disruption and static. If he is there and listens to the best young coach in the 10th Region they could be #1. Without him, they fall precipitously.

Sounds like the Allen kid is legit. Deff on my must- see list for next yr. (assuming he @ least stays in-state)

No doubt. Will just be a soph next season. Needs to thicken into his frame and get a little meaner. Once he does he will be dominant.

Scott returns a large junior class that includes all region performer Jake Ohmer. They also return a sophomore starter and a freshman that logged significant minutes.

From what I have heard Griffin Appleman from Pendleton County will be at Bracken County Monday

Yep

I'm thinking Bracken, Paris, Pendleton but way to early.

It's a great time of year.......everybody is right again and those "great" teams everybody predicted in the past 5 years to be can't miss winners are all sitting on the sidelines watching again but hey, we'll get em next year.....

Will Jared Shoemaker and Dontae Allen be staying at their current schools? I hope they do.

Allen is a poor poor mans Kevin Durant(which means he's still really really good), can handle, rebound, pass, work you inside, drain it from 3. Will be a better prospect then Darius Miller.

This is a stretch. Darius Miller was ranked 33rd in a loaded c/o 2008.. Just go back and look at some of the names in that class.. Brandon Jennings, Tyreke Evans, Demar Derozan, Kemba Walker and Jrue Holliday to name a few notables from that class. He will be good, but not on the level of Darius.

You can say that about Darius Miller now, but what will we be saying in 8 years or the 3 years he has left of HS? My opinion, I've seen them both play as freshman, the only thing Darius has over him at this point is Strength and using the Strength to his advantage. Darius always had a great teams around him too. Whether it was an 8th grader on the team that went to state. And he came up with Setty and was paired with Middleton for the majority of his HS career, two great 10th Region ballers in their own right.

Mason Returns Isiah Garrison- sophomore, jaylon Lofton- freshman, Levi Dunaway- sophomore , Perkins- sophomore. So I think since they are the current champs. They are my pick to win it again.

MC will be very heavy guard dominated. It will take them time to mesh things together. They won't have someone like PIG next year to keep things under control. I like Garrison being the "Robin" and PIG being "Batman" but I don't know if he can make that step up without ruffling feathers. He's very emotional and vocal.

If Perkins can gain weight and become a force in the middle then I think they have a shot by the end of the year. Their depth will also be really young so it will take time.
