March 3, 201610 yr I disagree. People tell the truth everyday. People just don't like the truth. Whose truth? Yours, mine?
March 3, 201610 yr I will now officially vote for Trump. If Mitt and Mitch hate him that much, he must be doing something right.
March 3, 201610 yr If the Left were trying to do this to Hillary you'd be screaming from the mountain top. If someone else flat out beats Trump, so be it. If he is the will of the people and the establishment Repubs try to keep it from him, they deserve everything that happens. Why would I care what they do to Hilary? I would love to see the same thing done to Hilary. It might actually mean a worthy candidate, like Gary Johnson, may actually get some sort of national recognition if both of the idiotic parties had brokered conventions.

Any chance Trump would pick Johnson as running mate or some Cabinet position?
March 3, 201610 yr Any chance Trump would pick Johnson as running mate or some Cabinet position? Not that I can imagine. Johnson seems like the type that would tell Trump to pound sand if he approached him about it. JMO.
March 3, 201610 yr Any chance Trump would pick Johnson as running mate or some Cabinet position? Maybe he could put Johnson in charge of the IRS. If Johnson had his way, there would be a lot of federal employees (IRS), Tax Lawyers and CPAs out of work...he is a huge proponent of the Fair Tax and eliminating income taxes.

March 3, 201610 yr Man, the Democrats are sitting back with HUGE smiles on their faces. Instead of going against the ideas of the Billary circus, the GOP is about to have a big civil war. The Dems couldn't have planned this any better...........unless they actually did!

The Dems couldn't have planned this any better...........unless they actually did! Think about that for a second. The GOP has known they'd be going against Hillary this cycle, someone they hate, and they're willing to sabotage their own candidate, thus giving her the Presidency, rather than have Trump as a possibility. If that doesn't tell you how scary the idea of Trump is, I don't know what will.
March 3, 201610 yr How in the world will GOP actually nominate him? Voters will choose Trump but I can't see any of the establishment getting behind him. No way, no how! Trump is not a conservative. He's a Repubmocrat.

If that doesn't tell you how scary the idea of Trump is, I don't know what will. We kind of heard this same stuff when Reagan was running. How do you go against what the people want (so far, because this ain't quite over yet)?
March 3, 201610 yr Before I pay homage with my comments to Mt.Ref, can anyone tell me how long is a mandatory timeout?

The Dems couldn't have planned this any better...........unless they actually did! I've been arguing the GOP has needed to go through this since 2008. They've gotten away with winning Congressional elections with obstructionism, but without a serious programmatic alternative to the Democrats they aren't going to win presidential elections. McConnell et al's scorched earth approach to opposing Obama has greased the skids for both Trump and Cruz. After Trump blows up the party, they are either going to re-group as a serious, issue-minded party or solidify their devolution into a right-wing populist party.
