Being a season ticket holder for Nku games I refuse to spend money at the concession stand. Way overpriced! And to uphold those prices for highschool games is ridiculous! Like it was said earlier, Bottle of water under the jacket, eat before you go! You would think the company that runs the arena/ concessions would rather sell 500 hotdogs at $2 each than only sell 50 at $4.

District championship game $5 for one game, 9th Region Tournament $8 for two games.

Does the 8th Region have any choice but Henry County?

Henry County is my favorite high school gym!

My goodness. This thread is sad. Talk about a bunch of whining babies. The arena is not there to give handouts to people. They have to staff the arena and the concessions. The arena exists not to cater to fans, but to turn a profit. You don't like concession prices? Don't buy anything. You don't like ticket prices? Don't go to the game. You don't want to pay to park? Park in a lot that requires more than a 2 minute walk and there's no charge.

You all act like because it's HS basketball everything should just be given away.

The concession prices there are no worse, actually better, than other college arenas.

I mean paying to park MAY be a bit much, BUT $8 to watch TWO games is a fair price IMO.

Got to watch my alma mater (Conner) last night AND the #1 team in the state play in one night and I spent $13. Not to mention Goetz and Snapp in losing efforts were fun to watch and are really nice players. For 3 hours of hoops, I can't say I'd feel right complaining about anything from last night.

I've also already paid for my ticket to sunday's games, and the thought of watching Conner V CCH & NCC/Cooper V Holy Cross/Dixie at that price is fine by me too. Some really solid basketball will be played on Sunday.

You're the biggest whiner on this forum, with the biggest keyboard muscles of all-time. People are saying they are not going. That arena is ripping off the public, and said public is responding. You counter by calling them names from behind the safety of your phone/computer. I would say you are the weasel whiner!

Uh oh...UKMF struck a nerve! LOL

How is BB&T ripping people off? They are there to make a profit and it sounds like the 9th region likes the money they are making from the deal. I've got no problem paying for a ticket, concessions or parking. It's all about the kids after all!

:lol2: You can say whatever you want about me my man, promise I can take it.

If saying people are being babies upsets someone, well they probably need thicker skin. :D

I see a very few handful of people that say I will not go. You just continue to berate to just have something to do obviously. OH well......the arena will get by without you ever coming in the doors.

I never did like Charlie's Angels, and I know why now.
