All State Baseball Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 SEC will review Humphries technical foul - ESPN Video
WestDanville Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 What good is that going to do? What's done is done. Game is over, the call and outcome remain the same. Let's move on with our lives. Cats have Bama at home on Tuesday.
PurplePride92 Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 Reminds me of when the ACC reviewed the end of the Duke/Miami football game.
Clyde Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 What's the story here? Jake Bell reviews all controversial calls.
LRCW Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 Here's the thing. I don't really remember anyone that complained about the T called on Briscoe last week against South Carolina. He too was just celebrating a great play.
Sportsaholic Mamaw Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 Ridiculous and it will not change anything.Big Blue Nation, move on and prepare for Bama.
WestDanville Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 Here's the thing. I don't really remember anyone that complained about the T called on Briscoe last week against South Carolina. He too was just celebrating a great play. Probably just because the game wasn't on the line. If it was a one point game and happened in the last minute of the game then I'm sure it would be talked about just like it is now with Humphries.
TheDeuce Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 Probably just because the game wasn't on the line. If it was a one point game and happened in the last minute of the game then I'm sure it would be talked about just like it is now with Humphries. The simple difference is UK won that game and lost this one. Had UK won last night, there would be zero talk about this technical.
CoachBuckett Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 I willing to bet the SEC will side with the official.
Mack The Knife Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 Here's the thing. I don't really remember anyone that complained about the T called on Briscoe last week against South Carolina. He too was just celebrating a great play. I did, but not on here. Also thought the T on the SC player was bogus.
born2reign Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 I disagree with anyone that says this isn't the type of thing that the conference should investigate. That being said, nothing meaningful will come of it for UK. There may be some clarity provided for officials in the future as to how to handle this type of end of game situation.
