How many people outside of the 8th region think Williams is the lock for Mr. Basketball? Taylor County got off to a sluggish start, but have been 13-2 in their last 15 games. I would vote for Williams but I could still see Goodin win it

I guess we will see the next 4 yrs on how well they will do. My guess they better get players that can shoot more then 5 ft out cause a 6'6 kid will not be so dominant in the paint in college. Its a little different playing against 6'0 foot kids in highschool better learn how to shoot

You havnt been to Carsons game this year then. Improved a lot on his mid game really good now! 3 point is getting better! But you know when he can take on 4 people in the paint why not just dunk on people! That's why he is that best player in the state again 6'6 yes but he works so hard & so strong! You're just hater.. I saw both Goodin and Faulkner play this season, they are both outstanding. Goodin plays on a more talented team, but Faulkner carries a team that, frankly, might not have won three games this season without him. It's a tough call between the two of them. Both are going to be special players in college and beyond, both are fantastic players. I don't know how a voter chooses between the two of them (Williams aside for this discussion).

You are better off to ignore some of these posters. I believe they are 9th Region fans, thus prompting their hate of Carson Williams. I don't get it, but it appears that way.

You are correct. My buddy who speaks with the NKU coaches said Brannen pulled that recruiting coup off himself. Carson really had no intention of going there, nor did Faulkner I am told. Ignore these 9th Region people whose only interests are their "own."

If this is correct, I have a question: If Williams wins Mr. Basketball, how can he not be nominated by this state? It would look silly for Mr. Basketball to not be nominated, and someone else to receive such recognition. Any ideas on how that process works? I am curious.

Carson is in a contest right now! I do believe if he gets in the final 4 he gets to go to Texas during the final 4/championship for a dunk contest during the Ncaa championship! He's the only ky player
