No, the NKU coaches said the previous staff offered Weyer. The new hires decided Weyer was better off playing at a smaller level because of his size and limitations going up against Division I small forwards. He has neither the outside shot nor athletic ability to keep up in Division I. That is why they pulled back the offer. That comes from NKU coaches, and I believe they have a better grasp on it than you. Those are facts, unlike your emotional rant.

 

Funny any D1 coach would ever question Weyer's shooting, especially his outside shot supported by a pretty strong performance on the charity line. Here's the stats on Goodin, vs Faulkner, vs the Bellarmine catch.

Goodin on a 19-8 Taylor Co. team shoots 45.8% from the field; 22.4% from 3 and 70.4% from FT.

Faulkner on a 14-10 Caverna team shoots 52.9% from the field; 42.7% from 3; and 73.8% from FT.

Weyer on a 23-4 NewCath team shoots 52.0% from the field; 43.5% from 3; and

79.2% from FT.

Cannot imagine any coach at any level not salivating over shooting performance of Weyer. He is smooth and makes the game look easy.

So McDonald should look for another school next season. I guarantee you McDonald will start next season for NKU. Williams is no where near the player McDonald is right now. So I would be careful what you say about the other players on nku team cause the kids coming in next season will not make a impact right away like McDonald has.

I do have to agree Carson & mason will make a big impact on NKU next season.. Carsons work ethic is crazy good. Like really.. Mason is really good! Get some weight on Mason he gonna be crazy good! Carson is already really strong.. NKU good fit for both of them.. Will for sure make impact next year

I have no idea who McDonald is. It's funny the current NKU coaches apparently don't share your optimistic appraisal of the current players. Williams is better than anyone on their roster from what I understand, as is Faulkner. Those guys did not sign with NKU to sit the bench nor did the other high school players they signed or the Alabama transfer. We shall see.
