February 14, 201610 yr Brandon Knights freshman year is the most under appreciated. It was better season than both Towns and MKG. I love Knight and I have been on record a few times saying I loved that team more than the John Wall team. I can't believe how that Knight team never gets talked about but the John Wall team still does. At the end of the day that John Wall team did exactly what Tubbys teams always got put down for and that was losing in the elite 8. Brandon Knight is one of my favorite players to ever play at UK. With that said though I wouldn't put him in front of Towns but would put him in front of MKG as you said. I would put him in front of Murray too.

Not sure where you find your stats, but for the sake of comparison, I would love to know how many T's have been called against UK in SEC games not involving Sirmons. I'd bet it's way less than 1.29 per game.
February 16, 201610 yr Glad to see some people are giving @Wireman credit for sticking to his gut. Though a lot who laughed at him have gone into hiding on these UK threads. Oh well.. So Sirmons did the Kansas game and the Wisconsin game last year? Maybe that explains Cal being fired up.

February 16, 201610 yr Cal is very calculated with everything he does. If the CATS are having this much trouble with 1 ref (I don't keep up with who REfs UK games) I can see him doing this to bring light to the situation. 3 minutes into the game on National TV. Coaches can't say anything about Refs after the game, but in this situation, the Ref is getting all the criticism and people are starting to dig into the facts that show a possible agenda.

February 17, 201610 yr Heard that Matt is reporting that Sirmons won't be officiating any more UK games for the remainder of the SEC schedule. He said he didn't think that applied to the NCAA tourney, though. Wonder if this decision is from the SEC office?
