Region runners-up in 1935, 1944, 1954, 1975, and 2006.

Yes they were. Even though they've not been to Rupp, Barbourville has punched above their weight for a long time in the 13th.

It looks like Walton-Verona made it to the state tournament in 1942 as 9th Region champions.

When they were in the brutal 33rd District, they had very few trips to the 9th Region tournament. They were 9th Region runner up in 1986.

Also looks like Walton made it in 1933 as 10th Region champions, although I believe that was before Walton merged with Verona (which I think occurred in 1935).

Has Augusta been? If not you left them out.

Lawrence County has been to the Sweet 16 before but apart of the 16th region. Both West Carter and Lewis County have an outside shot to win the 16th this year.
