There is not any 15U EYBL at all. You are also correct in that the 17U EYBL is different than 16U EYBL. 17U is limited to 40 teams/programs. They play a set schedule of games with divisions much like the NBA. This regular season is played over 4 events in the Spring and based on your W-L record you qualify for Peach Jam in July live period.

16U EYBL plays a traditional tournament style format also at 4 events in the Spring of which 3 are located at the same time/venue as 17U EYBL. The events are exclusive to Nike 16U teams, but the number is higher than 40. There is a scoring system at each event where you get points for victories in pool play, winning your pool, advancing to Final Four or winning the tourney. After each tourney you have a point total and you qualify with points for Peach Jam based on your top two event scoring totals.

15U Nike dressed team/16U NIKE EYBL team/ no 17U team this year due to tough competition to be in the Top 40 of Nike program teams. Continued having a NIKE contract with significant Nike sponsorship package, including funding for travel budget. Hope that helps clear up any confusion from those speculating or guessing.

Correcting my inaccurate statement above about NIKE and 15U. At the time it was accurate, but NIKE rolled out a 15U EYBL format this season where 8 teams will play at Peach Jam this year through qualifying at (4) different 15U EYBL exclusive events. Winner & Runner-ups of the (4) 15U EYBL qualifying events (Brooklyn/NJ, Indianapolis, Hampton, VA, & Atlanta) play at Peach Jam with the (24) 17U EYBL qualifying teams & the (16) 16U EYBL qualifying teams this year.

So the state of Kentucky has one Travelers team this year? 16U and they will be playing on the 16U EYBL circuit?

They have a 15U team as well playing in several of the qualifying tournaments for 15U EYBL. 15U teams must either Win or place Runner-up at one of the events to qualify for Peach Jam and they must play in at least two of the qualifiers to be eligible.

From NKY:

CJ Fredrick of Covcath is playing for Indy Elite 16U.

Adam Kunkel of Cooper will either be with Travelers 16u or Hoop Dreams. I'm sure someone on here can verify which one.

Chris McNeil of Cooper tried out for Hoop Dreams as well. Not sure what his status is.

Sean McNeil of Cooper will be playing for OBC on the Adidas Gauntlet. (Great opportunity for him after playing for their "B" team last summer).

I want to say Brennan Hall of Newcath will be with Lville Magic 16U.
