I saw on Twitter that NKY Legends 14U got invited to Knoxvegas Heat tournament next weekend, is anyone else going from Ky in any of the age divisions?

 

Don't know about this year but last year it was full of Kentucky programs. Next Level, Louisville Magic, West Ky Elite, Manimal and Hoop Dreams were all down there.

manimal is going to the norman parker showcase in ATL at Suwanne Sports academy...Louisville magic is going to Wisconsin for NYLA Toruney...Dont recall where anyone else is going

The Louisville Spartans and MATTS Mustangs played in state last year and both was ranked in the top 10 in the 16U division nationally.

Team vision will be playing in knoxvegas. Should be a fun trip.

Hearing that David Sloan is now playing with Louisville Magic.

I was told the same thing.. went from TEAM Thad to Lville Magic. Glad he is staying in state. Lovan I believe is staying with Thad

Those aren't the most credible rankings. They basically just rank teams that played nationals. The best teams in the country were all out in Las Vegas that week.

What got the Spartans ranked was having a great showing in the Chicago Classic against some of the best teams in the country. MATTS Mustangs had good showings in big tournaments as well. Both teams moved up higher because of where we finished in Nationals. So if they went by what happened in nationals both teams should be ranked in the top 5.

If you think any 16u team in Kentucky last year is a top 5 team in the country, I've got some beach front property in Lexington to sell you.

 

I understand promoting your program but be serious. If your program were top 5 you'd have several kids with mid major and high major D1 offers already.
