I guess someone activated the Walton Nicholson winter weather shield without my authorization because it seems fine just south of Independence.

Good 7-8 inches here in Lawrenceburg and still coming down hard. May have a foot before all over. Already shoveled once, but cant tell it. Went to Kroger while ago, roads pretty bad.

We still had a couple of inches on the ground from Wednesday's snowfall but when I was outside 30 minutes ago I measured 14 inches in one spot and 15 in another. So we've had at least one foot of new snow in Booneville.

Hope everyone has their milk and bread for milk sandwiches!

We've been getting it at about an inch an hour for several hours. Probably 5-6 inches of new snow in Bardstown. Supposed to be worse in the south end of Nelson Co.

So @nWo, is it gonna snow in NKY? If it does, I'd rather it do it soon so I can go home. Having to work the full day and then deal with snow is worst case for me :lol2:

 

I've always said it wouldn't start in NKY until later in the day on Friday and that you all wouldn't get much snow accumulation until Saturday. I would be more than happy to let some of the snow with have in Richmond come your way! :thumb:

I'm just not thrilled I'll be here until 5 and then have snow. But please keep what you have. I hate the stuff.

Irvine is getting hit hard. I went out this morning about 9:30ish, and the entire county is solid white. the side roads, the main roads. The state highway department was out scraping the roads, they'd get a section done, a little while later, it would be covered back up and look like it wasn't even touched.

 

Looks like I'll be off the rest of the weekend. Hopefully some of this is gone by Monday so people can get back into work.
