They already show-ponied him at the All Star Game, might as well let him sell tickets for the Reds Hall too.

Not sure of all the legalities, but they said they recently amended the by-laws that allowed it, and they had to bet the Commissioner's permission, which he recently granted.

So the Reds went to the league and said; We have no all star game this year, we have no players that anyone will recognize so can you throw us a bone and let us have one big weekend featuring the hit king?
