While you're at it, have BM grill up some nice steaks to your satisfaction. He's good for it.

Yep and I will have 7 grandkids there with me that weekend, I'll just send a couple of the lively ones to jump in the cart with you and help you out.

Tell those buddies hello for me!

I'll tell them. Your old college teammate shot a 71 but he missed several birdie putts. He had one bogey and two birdies. Their greens were fast and our greens at our home course are slower, so that affected all of us.

He never could putt! :lol2:

Give them a cart and they can deliver food and beer to us all day. I like where this is going.

jahearme, come to Sag Hollow sometime and we'll all get together and play. See what you think of our course. Shouldn't be much over an hour drive from where you live.

This weekend is our annual Cider Cup matches at Cynthiana CC. Great event that has become my favorite weekend of golf. I've posted the link on here before, but here it is again for those that are curious about it.

Monday I'm getting the chance to play at Hurstbourne CC in the Osborne Cup. Hurstbourne is my favorite golf course in Kentucky. If you ever get a chance to play it, DO IT.

LOVE Hurstbourne -- the former home of the Foster Brooks Pro-Am.

The par 3 over the driveway, back towards the pool and the STUNNING clubhouse, is one of the cooler holes I've ever played.

No doubt, one of the coolest holes in the state.

It's getting that time of year again, what is the best/ worst golf gift you've received?

Well, I guess it's time to put the clubs up for good till spring. I stopped at the course Sunday afternoon and took my clubs out planning to play about 3:00. Nice and sunny, but temps were hanging around 58-59 degrees with a little breeze. I had shorts and short sleeve t shirt. Felt a little cool and by the time I would have walked 9, the temps would have probably dropped a few degrees and it would have been quite cool feeling, especially after working up a sweat with shorts and tee shirt. I loaded the clubs back in the trunk and went home, had some stuff to do anyway. With nWo now saying temps in the 20's this weekend and highs maybe not getting out of the 40's, that's my que. Plus I am neck deep into basketball now anyway so I have played very little golf for the past 4-5 weeks or so, only playing on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon hear and there.

Twenty years ago, I was given a sweater featuring an eight point buck hitting a teed-up golf ball.

We are at our condo at Woodson Bend and played 18 today in shorts, polo and a vest. Went out and 10:30 and finished at 1:00. A few residents were out, just meandered around them and came back and played holes I missed. Upper 60's the whole round

I shot a 91; 3 pars, 11 Bogeys, and 4 doubles. I actually hit the ball well and putted like a dog. It was AWESOME to be out. I hope to get a few more in this week if it does't rain too much. Course was wet but playable, cart path only, obviously.

I thought my golf year was over until my league decided to get together at Top Golf this coming weekend.

Top Golf is incredible. I'll be crossing the river a lot more in 2017.
