I'm shooting consistently in the low 90's & leaving a lot of strokes on the course. If MTGL can fix my putting stroke, I should be able to get into the high 80's.

Currently 20.7 handicap index.

Mine's somewhere in the 22-25 range, but so many of those rounds felt much better than the score indicates. My goal is to play bogey golf. That would satisfy me completely.

I played over the weekend and shot a 94 (47 & 47). At least 4 3-putts, maybe more...but none worse than the 150 par 3 where I landed a pitching wedge 6 inches from the hole. It came to rest about 7 feet away and I 3 putted for bogey. Absolutely brutal.

Holy cow, you hit your wedge 150? That's a 8 or 7 for me. lol

He must be younger than us. I used to be able to do that but I'm the 7 or 8 now.

Most people...not everyone but most who are hitting or trying to hit their pw 150 yards are swinging the wrong club.

Not if. When.

Being lazy, as usual, where is the best place to look online for golf packages in KY?

Looking to do a 3-4 day/night trip, hoping to hit 3-4 different golf courses.

I bought new clubs about 2 years ago and my irons are long. I have a gap wedge that is about 130, pitching wedge about 145, and a sand wedge that is about 100. Need to buy another wedge that is somewhere between 100-120.

Does anyone else ever go to the range and feel like you're hitting all your clubs the same distance?

I hope I can post this here. If not, I'll post it in the advertisement forum.

This family is a friend of ours and has gone through a horrible time since this accident. They have several fundraising events each year. I've golfed in this outing every year. It is a great time and for a great cause. Golf, beer, dinner and raffles. Some would say it's kind of pricey, but if you look at what you get and where the proceeds go, this is a small drop in the bucket. Come on out and play in this event.

Working on getting a squad together now, pretty happy its a Saturday outing rather than a Friday like the Mike Dunn.

Smooth 81 from the forward tees at Laurel Oaks. Double on a relatively easy par 5 spoiled the round. Overall, I struck the ball as well as I have all season. The wife says I need to wait a couple of weeks between rounds more often.

Supposed to play at an NKY site to be determined next Tuesday or Wednesday morning. A,J, Jolly, maybe.

Buddy here at work gave me his Ping G 15 driver to try out. He is on the G 25 or 30 model and the 15 was just laying around his house. It has a stiff shaft, all of my drivers are regular and I had a local school golf coach tell me he thought I should try a stiff shaft on the driver. Seem to hit it a little farther than I have been with my drivers, but lots of left and right with it so far.

I played probably my best nine holes of the season on Tuesday night. I won my league match because of it (the four strokes I got from the handicap didn't hurt either).

Sorry to the guys I played with on Saturday that my game showed up four days too late...
