Our Country is so weak France would take us over without firing a shot.

 

Iran had our sailors on the their knees, the female soldier with a scarf on her head, and the Secretary of State thanking Iran for releasing the sailors.

 

Reverse the story and what if we stripped an Iranian woman of her headgear and had their military on their knees saying how great America was. What would the world reaction be? What would the media's reaction be? What would liberals in our own country's reaction be?

 

Neville Chamberlain would be considered a hawk in the USA nowadays.

Pretty sad when our sailor apologized on Iranian TV.

But I guess he was just doing what his commander in chief would do.

I read and hear comments like many in this thread and thank God none of our leaders think and act the way seemingly intelligent people want them to.

Sadly, almost everybody in my lodge meeting last night. Nuke first, ask questions later kind of guys.

On the other hand, if the Iranians had begun executing these Sailors, how many in the Blame America First crowd would be asking what we did to make them hate us so, instead of calling for action?

Give me a freakin break and try not to dislocate your ankle when you dismount that high horse. Everyone, and I mean everyone had the same thought when they read the title. Had they held the ship for any other reason than to help, I'd have made them a parking lot. So, good thing that I'm not president, and that if I was that I'd expect timely explanation.

In the aftermath we have John Kerry dislocating his own should patting himself on the back and the Iranians getting lots of prime propaganda material. Who got the better of this situation?

This ended peacefully and our people are now free after a very short period of time. Yet we have some who are not thankful?

 

As I mentioned before, it was Iranian waters, we would do the same thing as they did. And how many people actually believe that the boats "broke down"? It very well may have been, but would we buy that excuses at the beginning of it happens in US waters?

 

Same thing with the Russian fighter that flew into Turkish airspace, the Russian plane violated Turkish airspace and was shot down. Just be thankful that our people were not harmed and and now free.
