Also wasn't flagged which gets back to the whole "interpretation" nonsense... By the way, I'm basing it on the replays of this on my big screen tv today... And even those that thought it was dirty didn't think it was a helmet to helmet. It was obviously "interpreted" to be dirty. Hence the $50,000 fine. It was a missed call on the field.

And there's disagreement among former players and coaches as to whether it was a dirty play... That's not me saying it, it's what they said. Also, he clearly does not lead with the crown of his helmet like Shazier clearly did against Gio... The flag wasn't thrown in either play. He was fined, but it was forearms to his upper chest and at best maybe his face mask makes contact with the guys helmet, but it wasn't leading with the crown of the helmet. Heck, many guys, such as Deion Sanders don't even think the Burfict hit on Brown should've been called... Again their words, not mine.

Also, don't forget what I've already said... The low hit on Ben was illegal and I think the hit on Brown was illegal... I just think this hit on the Ravens guy was more 50/50 depending on the officials and the sack on Ben I still say was legal... But just my opinion which is only that of a fan... Not a coach or official, and only they can control this stuff.
January 12, 201610 yr The sack of Big Ben was textbook and VB tried (and did) come up with the ball much like the Steelers did on the Gio hit. But Big Ben was down before the ball was loose. Watch the ball as it hits the ground during the sack. It moves but he was down and VB digs it out.
