I hate the Steelers, but no way this guy was acting. How big is Vontez? Fast can he move? How hard can he hit? Even if he was "acting" the flag was out before he hit the ground. A guy that big, strong, and fast hits you in the side of the head its going to do some damage. This is a question out of ignorance since I don't believe I've ever been concussed, couldn't you possibly recover enough to be able to celebrate with your teammates? I mean he didn't play another down .

For those of you that think Burfict is trying to change, the Tez from two years ago would have killed Brown. It was a wide open kill shot. If you're going to get a penalty anyway, thump the dude.

 

He didn't. He pulled up. Brown should be glad that he can walk today. That was a career ending shot that Tez did not take.

That play happens all of the time. That is one of those where it was a flake in the snowball that is Burfict rolling down into insanity.

The tackle on Roethlisberger was indeed up for interpretation, but I'm not remotely in the mood to get into that. Rule states that if in a defenseless posture it's a personal foul if a player lands with his full weight on the quarterback. I'm not saying it should have been called, but for all you guys nitpicking about interpretation, well, there's another for the pot.

Until he is ruled out for this Sunday, I'm not buying it. Have you ever had a concussion? The last thing I wanted to do was jump around and make videos. But that's just me.

You truly hope that he makes enough plays to overcome such untimely personal fouls. I've been thinking about this. It isn't that he gets so many penalties. It is his timing is awful (not that there is a good time for a 15 yard penalty.)

Both are pro bowl caliber players. Football is football, not a church choir.
