January 12, 201610 yr No official disagreed with the penalty on Burfict like they did on Shazier. Right, we we're talking about Shazier in that thread... But in this game, the official "interpretation" was not to throw the flag... They penalized him after the fact.

January 12, 201610 yr I saw the link and I saw it on 4 different shows today on tv... And there's disagreement among former players and coaches as to whether it was a dirty play... That's not me saying it, it's what they said. Also, he clearly does not lead with the crown of his helmet like Shazier clearly did against Gio... The flag wasn't thrown in either play. He was fined, but it was forearms to his upper chest and at best maybe his face mask makes contact with the guys helmet, but it wasn't leading with the crown of the helmet. Heck, many guys, such as Deion Sanders don't even think the Burfict hit on Brown should've been called... Again their words, not mine. Deion Sanders Ha Ha

I agree. that is one clip where slo-mo doesn't show the true story. I'll admit, this year I haven't watched much football, and ever since about the Bengals 9th week I can't watch home games live. But I don't think Joey Porter should be allowed to be on the sidelines for the rest of the year, not should Munchak. Porter literally serves no purpose other than to get the other team stirred up.
January 12, 201610 yr I only see 2 as a true dirty play where he went out of his way and that is the Baltimore one and the low hit. The Rothlesberger sack is a weak example. I honestly think he wasn't trying to hit Browns head. He just didn't let up when the ball was clearly incomplete and hit him. If Brown catches that ball it probably would have been a body blow as he was going to be a little bit more up the field. Still bad judgment. Deserves everything he got cause it's a terrible pattern that is embarrassing to the city and franchise.
