Supposedly shooting started at first stop. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uERKF_tJ2z4 I didn't see shooting at first stop but did see a lot of patience. If shots were fired there I could see it when he flees. As to what he did to be shot, it's like he is playing a game of going for his gun not once but twice. If this scene had played out in urban America these same Cowboys would be saying the guy got what he had coming for not listening, surrendering, and going for the gun twice.
January 29, 201610 yr The bottom line is this, it doesn't matter what color you are or what your cause is, when an officer of the law orders you to the ground you better obey. If not you may die. Even if this guy didn't have a weapon, the shooting would be justified.

January 29, 201610 yr These people broke the law...The police/FBI used common sense in not attacking a fortified position, but waited until the leaders were together on the road and stopped them. A guy that said he'd never be taken alive appeared to reach for a gun and got his wish.
