January 27, 201610 yr I guess, but that's his direct quote that he's said MANY times...that's what I was getting at I know. I'm intentionally copying it. It never pops up when the roles are reversed. I'm using it for consistency. As I stated, that always seems to be the implication more eloquently stated by others in similar situations with different players.

Only reason I didn't want the police storming the building and removing them was I didn't want the police to walk into a Waco type ambush. These people/ranchers/idiots/militia thugs what ever they are, need to be arrested.
January 27, 201610 yr Author Do you have a link to that, I can't seem to find any. An unknown number of protesters remained at the refuge Wednesday, but members of the media began leaving after the FBI reportedly told some journalists the Bureau couldn't offer "protection." KTVZ reporter Lauren Martinez tweeted a video of her leaving the compound area with the ominous note "@FBI warns media no protection." Oregon Public Broadcasting reporter John Sepulvado tweeted ".@OPB was told by FBI that we were on our own -- essentially stuff is going down and we need to move." Some "brilliant" lady brought her kids there the other day, from what I know they are still there, I think I heard as young as 6 years old. One of the daughters who is 18 was in the vehicle last night that was stopped.
January 28, 201610 yr If he'd just have done what the police/FBI said... Yep, and what's the other one we hear....If he felt he was being treated unfairly he should've gotten their names and badges and filed a complaint? Yeah I think that's it.
January 28, 201610 yr Author There will be people who are against the Feds saying that the Feds did everything wrong, and that the so called militia were all innocent and didn't deserve to be shot at.
January 28, 201610 yr Author Good job Feds on this take down, the guy killed got what he deserved. Also good to see that no Feds got injured. Edited January 28, 201610 yr by SportsGuy41017
January 29, 201610 yr I read on an alert on my phone that this guy didn't stop when they tried to make the traffic stop. Drove off while one car did stop. He didn't realize there was a road block set up ahead and he ran his vehicle off into the snow trying to get away. When he got out of his vehicle he reached to pull a gun from his waistband and was shot. Law enforcement from what I read is looking to release the video quickly due to some saying he was shot in cold blood. If he went to draw a weapon, I don't see where anything wrong was done.
January 29, 201610 yr The video is online. He crashed while running from law enforcement. He nearly hit one officer. He then exited the truck, raised his hands, then clearly reached towards his jacket pocket. He then raised his hands again, just before reaching towards his pockets again, at which point he was shot. I think he would have been shot the first time but there may have been a cross fire situation. Based on the video they did what they had to do. I believe he had a loaded pistol in his pocket.
January 29, 201610 yr Video of the shooting. 9:20 mark. http://www.rawstory.com/2016/01/watch-fbi-releases-lavoy-finicium-shooting-video-showing-he-went-for-his-gun-twice/

Did that video show initial stop? There were supposedly two scenes. Twos different scenes as shown in this drone video. Supposedly shooting started at first stop. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uERKF_tJ2z4
