My theory. He gets away from the truck cause he wants to get away from the passengers.

Then he baits the FBI with hands up and goes for a gun twice because the footing is so bad. He wants to get a shot off at them before they kill him. He wants to be a martyr.

Just a thought.

His actions justified the officers' reactions.

Case closed. The whole crew is lucky the FBI didn't use this as a training exercise for real criminals.

At least they did not burn them alive to save them.

Eliminate the threat.

I'd say they did, very effectively.

Let me make sure I understand what she is conveying in this interview.

You run a police stop. Flee from the scene. Come upon a road block and try to avoid it. Guy has hands in the air. Obvious from film. So what was he reaching for when he was motioning with his hand? Not once, but twice.

And they started shooting the vehicle. But their bad shots and miss.

These individuals wanted confrontation and got it IMO. It turned violent. Just like most don't seem to trust the spokespeople for the FEDs here, I don't trust the interpretation of those from inside this vehicle.

At least these were grown adults and had the chance to surrender or even earlier, leave an area that did not want them there. :idunno:

Absolutely. Same is true with the authority of these so called leaders of this movement.

I do not believe there is enough objective facts to draw conclusions. The Federal BLM has been exposed and embarressed by the standoff. It seems there is a desire to bring this to a close quickly. I just would not take FBI's word for anything at this point.

Supposedly they were being shot at at the first stop for no reason and hence the drive off. Its interesting there are no decent resolution pictures of the truck on the web yet. There are supposedly clear holes and damage from gun fire from the first stop. Supposedly the rancher was going out in a blaze of glory. He supposedly was reaching for (but never withdrew) a 9mm in a coat pocket. If he was it never appearred. That is clear. No muzzle was every aimed at anyone by him. He supposedly left his favorite revolver at the compound to go to the pre-arranged meeting unarmed. Seems odd of you know your going down you do not do iwith it your best weapon.

Waco was bad enough for the FBI and their 'operations' but they also still have blood on their hands from the botched gun running to Mexico. And they lied about that. So the vaunted organization has a history - both long past and recent that makes taking their word on its face hard.

The girls comments match the video. If she is lying, she is real, real good at it.

Lets not applaud the FBI yet for taking down a 70 year old man in 2 feet of snow who has multiple shooters from 3 different angles firing at him.

I don't applaud the FBI. They let these armed traitors stay in a govt building more than 1 day.

What does Waco have to do with is instance? How are the two related?

Traitors? You call them traitors for standing up for someone who they thought was wronged? I don't know all the facts. Neither do you and I'm betting no one on here does. So to come to any conclusions is not even an educated guess as to what really took place from start to finish out there.

Forcing things when there is no reason to force them.

Waco, Ruby Ridge, this.

Un-necessary and bad 'operations'.
