January 31, 201610 yr Author I'm about half way through. I thought it was pretty good, and I feel the same about the series overall. There's a lot of easily predictable things about the main characters, but the crimes in each of the books are pretty interesting.

February 12, 201610 yr Started this earlier in the week. I think it's been on my shelf for ten years. I'm enjoying it, but wish I'd read it a little earlier. It is a bit dated.

I see the response has been overwhelming, but I would definitely be interested in something like this. I don't read at an mcpapa pace, but when it comes to reading, I always struggle picking out my next book and not having anyone to bounce thoughts off that has seen the same material. This would check off both boxes.

February 15, 201610 yr Sounds good at first blush, but I'm not in. I want to read what I want on my own schedule. Why I never joined a local book club. Now, if someone wants me to send them my copy of what I just finished - provided it's one I will part with (and most of them are), I'll mail it to you gratis.

I think the big difficulty would be finding a book everyone would at least find interesting and would provide enough material to talk about. I don't really know how to do that. :lol2: At any rate, we'll leave the idea open and see if anyone else chimes in or has any thoughts.
