Staying home for the night. I've got Filet Mignon on the grill, Shirmp, home-grown green beans, salad, & Coffee ice cream for me and Mrs. Lawnboy & the original Daddy's Little Girl. DLG 2.0 & 3.0 are at friends house's for the night, & DLG isn't heading out until 10 o'clock.

Hopefully I can stay awake, the past two New Year's Eve's I've been asleep before 9 o'clock. :facepalm:

Having 5 couples over to eat, drink and play a little Euchre. TV will be on - MSU-Bama. I actually put my foot down on that one - I think my wife actually wants the game on too...good woman!

I have a cheese ball, shrimp ring for me and Buddy), turkey breast (for Levi, who is suspicious of the shrimp) and a lemon pound cake. Got the fixings for Irish coffees, and stumbled across a tiny bottle of Prosecco for my midnight toast. Let's hope I'm still awake then to drink it! I and my family have had an exceptional year, and I'm toasting that, plus great things for 2016.

The Warm-up act is pretty good too with OLK-Clemson.

 

Hopefully Bama -MSU game goes past midnight so I don't have to see Ryan Seacrest. No fair making Sage Steele put up with him all night. Might have to check out what she is wearing though.:banana:

Out to dinner at Decca on Market Street. Then some friends are having a party.

Home made Jersey Mike Subs, plus several appetizers. Got the fire place going, and friends are stopping by.

Just hanging out at home. One son is out with his girlfriend, the other one is at the movies. Watching football and taking it easy.

Church is having a shindig, movie, games, food, going to that.

At a friends house now having beer, mets, and wings. Heading back home around 11 to finish off the new year with the wife and kids. I'm not a big NYE party guy, but did want to spend a little time with some friends that came in from out of town.

Laying on the couch watching football . Earlier had one last meal at Frisch's with my son's family before they move to Elberta Al. near Gulf Shores on Saturday bought them a jar of tartar sauce . Then Champagne at midnight if still awake .,and Mass in the morning .

New Years Eve is amateur hour in my book. I never get on the road past 10pm. Ms Slick and I are staying home, will have a few drinks and beers.

3 kids out and 2 at home. All is well for a relaxing night of TV, games and snacks and perhaps beverages. But alas, gotta scratch the beverages----the mom/dad mini-van taxi will be running later.
