January 1, 201610 yr Good eats, drinks, and football with friends got trumped by Mrs. C1 coming home from work sick yesterday afternoon. So I enjoyed a good bourbon, a few beers, and we watched "A Walk in the Woods" (Nick Nolte, Robert Redford), and the "Heist" (Robert De Niro). Glad we waited until they came out on Amazon Prime. They were just ok. Happy New Year folks....let's make 2016 a fantastic one! :thumb:
January 1, 201610 yr Worked the second shift last night. Got home just in time to watch the ball drop and the went to bed to prepare for a 16 hr. shift today thats where I am now. PB98 jr (PB2020) was at a friends house and will remain their until Saturday. Mrs PB98 will have the house to herself as she did last night. Which I am certain she is not upset about. :lol2:

January 1, 201610 yr 18 of us Did dinner at J Alexander's and came back here. . Had predrinks down the street at 4:30. Reservations at 6:00 back here by 8:30. So much food and drink for everyone! The last ones (which did not spend the night ) got out of here around 2:00. Fantastic time! Happy New Years to all!
January 1, 201610 yr I went to a friends house for the night. Had some beverages, played some card games (the voting game and Cards Against Humanity), and just enjoyed good company. My friend and I left around 1:30 or so to head home.
January 1, 201610 yr Went to the wedding of one of my daughter's college roommates last night at Talon Winery. Groom was a former G-town football player, bride was on the golf team. One of the Scott High Sowders was the best man, another was a groomsman. Had a nice time reconnecting with some of our Georgetown friends.
January 1, 201610 yr I had a few Miller Fortunes, Pork Roast, various fruits/veggies, and watched several of the network productions. I liked the Pit Bull New Years Eve the best, The Dick Clark/Ryan Seacrest one was decent, and I even watched some of Univision's Feliz 2016 and it was okay. My guest was on fire and we wrapped up about 3am just in time for me to watch War of the Worlds on TNT. Then a little real science on History 2 and out...

January 4, 201610 yr Had dinner with some friends, then back to my place for cards and football. Played cards against humanity, and when everyone crashed my brother and I played Madden till 5:30 or 6:00
